OFW Kabalikat: Pickling Fermentation

Following the one day community based training of RTC Mariveles, another competency of Food Processing NC II was conducted on May 8, 2021. With the untiring effort RTC Mariveles’ administrator, Mr. Neil G. Santioque, asked the assistance again of Ms. Evelyn Villegas (trainer) and assistant Ms. Daisy Mae Gonzales (Center’s Registrar) to facilitate the training in Process Foods by Fermentation and Pickling.
This program consists of twenty-eight (28) participants from Kabalikat/Tupad and OFW council. They have produced “atsarang ampalaya and atsarang pipino”.
This is in line with the Director General Sec. Lapeña’s directives on Agri-surplus programs as well as Livelihood programs which helps those who cannot access formal trainings, with a mission to get into productive undertakings to help themselves and their communities.
